The COO is the primary architect of the university’s operational efficiency and infrastructure growth. The University seeks a visionary leader possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, and organizational agility. Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor or the Board of Management, the COO ensures that the university’s non-academic functions—from finance and HR to estate and IT—run as a seamless, student-centric enterprise.

Comprehensive leadership across core institutional priorities
Operational Excellence
Streamline administrative processes across all campuses to reduce turnaround times for student and faculty services.
Financial Management & Growth
Oversee the university’s budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation. Drive cost-optimization and identify new non-tuition revenue streams.
Infrastructure & Estate
Lead the planning and execution of campus expansion, including smart-classroom integration, labs, hostels, and sustainable "Green Campus" initiatives.
Human Resources & Talent
Oversee the non-teaching staff recruitment, performance appraisal systems, and professional development programs.
Digital Transformation
Direct the IT department to implement a robust ERP/LMS ecosystem, ensuring data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics.
Liaison & External Relations
Coordinate with government bodies, vendors, and industry partners for large-scale infrastructure and service contracts.
Admissions & Marketing
Partner with the Admissions Head to ensure marketing budgets are optimized for maximum ROI.
Placement & Corporate Relations
Provide the logistical and financial support required for large-scale campus recruitment drives.
Student Life
Oversee the management of hostels, cafeterias, transport, and security services to ensure a world-class student experience.
Eligibility & Experience
Academic Qualification
A Master’s Degree (preferably an MBA from a premier institute) or a professional degree in Management/Finance.
Experience
A minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., COO, VP-Operations, or Director-General) in a large University or a corporate entity of high repute.
Technical Prowess
Deep understanding of Educational ERPs, financial modeling, and project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
Leadership Proof
Documented evidence of leading an organization through a significant scale-up, digital transformation, or financial turnaround.
