The Director of Admissions and Outreach is the primary architect of the university’s student recruitment strategy. The University seeks a person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment. This leader is responsible for meeting enrollment targets across diverse programs while ensuring that the incoming cohort aligns with the university’s academic standards and diversity goals.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive leadership across core institutional priorities
Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM)
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual admissions plan for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
Brand Outreach
Design and oversee multi-channel outreach campaigns, including school/college visits, education fairs, and digital marketing initiatives.
Funnel Management
Manage the entire lead-to-enrollment funnel using CRM tools, ensuring high conversion rates through personalized engagement.
International Recruitment
Lead global outreach efforts to increase the international student footprint, managing foreign consultants and institutional partnerships.
Scholarship Administration
Design and implement scholarship schemes to attract merit-based and diverse talent while managing the discount/revenue balance.
Admission Compliance
Ensure that the entire admission process adheres strictly to the UGC/AICTE norms and the University’s own statutory ordinances.
Entrance Examinations
Oversee the conduct of University Entrance Tests (if applicable) or coordinate with national testing agencies (like NTA for CUET).
Counseling & Verification
Lead the counseling sessions and ensure the rigorous verification of student eligibility and documentation.
Market Intelligence
Conduct periodic competitor analysis and market research to advise the Board on new program feasibility and pricing strategies.
Eligibility & Experience
Academic Qualification
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in education management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within admissions or marketing
Technical Skills
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, NoPaperForms), data visualization tools, and digital marketing analytics.
Leadership Proof
Documented evidence of achieving significant enrollment growth or successfully launching new academic brands/campuses.
