The Vision & Role Purpose

The Placement Director is the primary architect of the university’s industry engagement strategy. The University seeks a person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment. This leader is responsible for building sustainable corporate partnerships, ensuring 100% placement assistance, and elevating the university’s standing in national and international "Employer Reputation" rankings.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive leadership across core institutional priorities

Corporate Acquisition

Proactively network with CHROs and CXOs of Fortune 500 companies, startups, and NGOs to bring them to campus for recruitment.

Placement Lifecycle Management

Oversee the entire "Campus to Corporate" process, including Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs), online tests, interviews, and final offer management.

Internship Strategy

Secure high-quality summer and winter internships that provide students with real-world exposure and lead to Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).

Skill Gap Analysis

Collaborate with Deans and the IQAC to provide feedback on industry trends, helping to align the curriculum with current "job-ready" skills.

Alumni Engagement

Leverage the alumni network for mentorship, guest lectures, and placement leads

Career Counseling

Provide personalized career guidance to students based on their strengths and market demand.

Soft Skills & Technical Bootcamps

Organize workshops on resume building, mock interviews, aptitude training, and corporate etiquette.

Placement Portal Management

Oversee the digital infrastructure (ERP/CRM) used for student registration, database management, and recruiter communication.

Eligibility & Experience

01

Academic Qualification

A Master’s Degree (preferably MBA/PGDM) with at least 55% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience

A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within corporate HR, recruitment, or campus relations.

Industry Network

A proven and active network of corporate contacts across diverse sectors (e.g., IT, Manufacturing, BFSI, Consulting).

Leadership Proof

Documented evidence of significantly improving placement statistics, average CTCs, or institutional rankings.
